In the summer of
2006, I was approached to be a freelance talent scout for a
gay adult entertainment website. Up until then, I had no
experience in the adult business.
I do not look at
the business as being unsavory. Rather, it's about marketing
and professionalism. There is no difference between selling
porn and selling Pepsi. It's about fulfilling consumer
demand. Some of us are just smart enough to be making good
money fulfilling that demand.
I am devoted to
maintaining a professional business. Read about my
standards below. There are scouts out there who attempt to
take money from potential models or who try to bed the
talent in exchange for promoting them or for promising work.
I am not one of those scouts. I also don't work with
companies who engage in unprofessional behavior involving
the models they work with. My goal is to be miles ahead of
the rest when it comes to professionalism.
Fierce Scouting is not an agency. We do not take
a percentage of model pay. We are paid by the studios for
our services. Models keep 100% of their earnings from the
studios for their work.
